Simon Chan

Sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying Computer Systems Engineering. After I built my first ever computer back in middle school, I have always been curious about computers, from how they access the internet to how it can store tons of extremely powerful applications to accomplish tasks. In school, I have coded many different projects such as connect four, a course catalog for movies powered by a hashtable, madlibs, and even a bear and berry simulation where the bears move around the grid eating berries as well as tourists. I am familiar with C++ and Python as well as the data structures that are used in computer science. Learning about time and space complexity is all important to becoming a skilled developer and I aim to expand my skill set in the future.
